If you employ staff in your business, you have a legal obligation to deduct income tax and national insurance contributions from the employees’ salaries and pass this to HMRC. There is now also a legal requirement to report on employee salaries to HMRC on a monthly basis (RTI). Failure to meet any of these obligations may result in you or your business being prosecuted or fined.

We have a department that specialises in payroll and we deal with a wide variety of business sizes, ranging from sole traders with one or two employees, to large companies with many staff. Our service includes; calculating the PAYE and NI contributions, reporting to HMRC on all aspects of the payroll (RTI), producing payslips, P45’s when required and P60’s for year-end, liaising with HMRC on any payroll matters and many more.
